Castanhas Brazil

We chose this coffee for its typical Brazilian characteristics: round, unpretentious, with subtle notes of hazelnut and praline and a very light and refreshing acidity on the finish.

Castanhas do Brasil, meaning "Brazil Nuts," is a blend sourced primarily from Carmo de Cachoeira in the Minas Gerais region. It is produced by the Cocatrel cooperative, founded in 1961 in Tres Pontas. All their coffees are electronically labeled and registered upon delivery with a unique QR code, providing complete traceability and allowing producers to know exactly where their coffee is. More than 50% of the cooperative's members grow coffee on land smaller than 10 hectares.

Specifically, this coffee is supplied by the cooperative's branch called Cocatrel Direct Trade, which strives to source the best coffees and promote them to its members.
