We selected Pampojila for its roundness and smoothness which, with a moderate intensity, create a very pleasant sensation in the mouth! With its notes of milk chocolate and dried fruit, and low acidity, it's a perfect coffee with or without milk at any time of day.

Where does this quality come from? First, from the planting of the best Arabica coffee varieties, which are grown in ideal conditions. "Our farm is located on rich volcanic soil, on the slopes of the Atitlán volcano, rising above Lake Atitlán, where the south wind brings almost daily a humid cloud cover, thus offering natural shade to the coffee trees in the afternoon," says the producer, Alex Herrera.

Finca Pampojilá was founded and officially registered at the end of the 19th century. For over 150 years, the farm has been producing coffee in the beautiful mountains south of Lake Atitlán.

In 2012, Alex Herrera's family acquired the finca and renovated it after the floods caused by Tropical Storm Agatha. Regenerative agriculture is at the heart of their production model, with the goal of restoring and enriching agricultural ecosystems while producing high-quality coffee. In our opinion, they've succeeded!
