We selected Pampojila for its roundness and suppleness, which, combined with moderate intensity, create a very pleasant mouthfeel! With its notes of milk chocolate and dried fruits, and low acidity, it is a perfect coffee with or without milk at any time of the day.

Where does this quality come from? First, from the planting of the best Arabica coffee varieties, which are grown under ideal conditions. “Our farm is located on rich volcanic soil, on the slopes of the Atitlán volcano, rising above Lake Atitlán, where the southern wind brings a humid cloud cover almost every day, providing natural shade for the coffee trees in the afternoon,” says producer Alex Herrera.

Harvesting at the Pampojila farm
Finca Pampojilá was founded and officially registered in the late 19th century. For over 150 years, the farm has been producing coffee in the magnificent mountains located south of Lake Atitlán.
The beautiful Sololá region, south of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, where Finca Pampojila is located
In 2012, Alex Herrera’s family acquired the finca and renovated it following the flooding caused by Tropical Storm Agatha. Regenerative agriculture is at the heart of their production model, with the goal of restoring and enriching agricultural ecosystems while producing high-quality coffee. In our opinion, they have succeeded!!
